Reminiscing the sweet memories that we had in Melbourne. It was truly a memorable trip. I miss Melbourne. I miss the coldness although I may detest. I miss everything that we did there. I wouldn't mind going back there once again. Thank God for technology and GPS, without the GPS we'll be lost and wouldn't be able to explore so many places. I miss the relaxing mood, not worrying about anything at all, just enjoy every moment of it. Miss it.
I was very frustrated as I do not understand how some parents only think about themselves and not allowing their children to choose the route. I know all parents love their children and hope the best for them but I think it's important to give support and liberty to the children to do something that they enjoy doing. I'm blessed to have parents who are so liberal and supportive in any decision that we make. They've always allowed us to go our own way and guide us along the way, never once discourage us. I'm thankful for their openness which enables us to share every single details of our lives with them. Don't you think it's good for your children to openly share about their thoughts & feelings to you rather than playing the guessing game. Being authoritative over your children only create fears in them.
My parents have truly set great examples for us to follow. I will treat my children like how I'm being treated. I want my children to tell me their problems, tell me what they are facing and give the necessary advice and support to them. Communication is the key. Many parents fail to communicate with their children. Yes, we must respect our parents but I think it's important for parents to realise that it's important to communicate with their children. Communication here means understanding them, supporting them and being able to give advises to them.
Sigh, I really must learn to accept. It's hard. Really hard. I cannot imagine how to deal with this. God, please give me the patience and wisdom.

So I thought that after I'm done with my exams, I'll have more time but I'm wrong. There's so much to do and so little time to achieve it. Sigh, bad time management I guess. I really need to manage myself better and be more productive & proactive. Our family has just launched a new family business - CottonLoom. We've been planning for a few months and finally we've launched it beginning of June 09. It was a bit unrealistic at first, but after launching it, I began to see the potential of the business and how we can develop further. I'm excited to see what the future holds. I'm glad to see the unity in the family as each of us holds a different role in putting our differences aside and united as one family to make this a success.
At the end of the day, whether we make lots of profits or not, the most important value that we gain is the unity of the family, the time spent together doing something. This can't be bought by money. Of course we have set goals to achieve and we'll work & strive to make it happen. We just uphold all this unto God's hands as this is also His business.
The bestfriend is coming back soon in July. It seems like yesterday that I sent her off and now I'm seeing her again. The excitement in me is so great as I'm able to be with someone that I'm so comfortable with, share with her my plans & thoughts, listen to her stories, be an encouragement to each other. I'm excited. But my concern is that July & August is going to be a month of striving and hardwork, I really got to manage my time well that I will have time to spend with her. Thank God, I'm defering my studies to next year so one less burden off my chest. She has another 2 more years in Russia and she'll be back for good :) Next in mind is to save for her graduation. I would really love to be there to witness the auspicious moment where she receives her scroll and wears the mortar board and graduation robe. I would love to take a picture with her and give her a big hug wishing her congratulations and that ALL her hardwork & effort is worthwhile. All the years living alone abroad pays off as she graduates and officially becomes a doctor. I must be there, so start saving now!!

Thank You
Big Thank You to the One Above :) :) :) Without Him, I will not be able to do this exam with confidence. During preparation time before my exams, I prayed to God asking Him to highlight to me which are the important areas that I should put my focus on. Since I have 4 subjects to tackle, I wouldn't have the time to read everything and memorise the key concepts for all the chapters. He is so good! As I was flipping through my books, somehow there will be a tingling feeling that I need to focus on this particular topic. I did with obedience by studying and remembering everything about that and for ALL 4 subjects, He has helped me tremendously!!
All that I study and memorize comes out word for word in the exam questions! Really want to praise Him for all that He has done for me. I'm finally done with Level 2 of CIM and I'm praying for favour with the examiners that's going to mark my papers that I'm able to impress them and score well. I don't know whether what I've written is sufficient but I'm just going to trust God like how I've trusted Him and it has been proven 4 times that He did not fail me but instead He was with me all the while giving me ideas when my head went blank!
Whatever the results may be, I'm just going to honour God with that :) Hmm, it feels so good to be free ! I'll be taking half a year break since there's a change in the syllabus and the new syllabus will only commence next year. So this half year will be off from books but it's going to be exciting as we embark into a new phase of business plans :) We're still in the midst of finalising everything and I'll try to document everything down, so that it would be more proper and professional. I'll announce when's the launching. I think by learning this course has truly help me to see what are the areas that we need to concentrate and what are the things that we need to do to ensure something works out well. Hopefully, I'll put all that I've learned into good use :)
Tonight supposed to go out and celebrate but Roger's grandma passed away. Went for the memorial service and was very touched and encouraged by her life, although I do not know her. Each time I attend a funeral, I'll start to think about what's going to happen in mine? I think I would like to choose a few songs myself and tell my loved ones that these will be the songs that I want everyone to sing in my funeral instead of the usual ones. I'm still choosing but currently I enjoy listening to Till I See You - Hillsongs. Maybe it's because it's one of the few songs that I can strum with. It's really a nice song :)
Yay! My restaurant city is going to level up soon :) This game can get quite bored but I like the designing part! Hehe..

Countdown
Exactly 10 more days till my exams. I was being heroic at the beginning of the semester to take 4 subjects. Many times I felt like backing out, but I'm always reminded by the pact that we've made. No matter what we do, we must always do it with our best effort. I know she has been performing very well in her studies and it motivates me. I will not give up and will put my best into it. I will take half a year break and finish it by next year.
Okay, back to my books.
Okay, back to my books.

Land Down Under
Touched down last Thursday morning and my stuffs are still inside the luggage bag lying in my room. Procrastination. I know I must clear it soon but I can't seemed to find the time. Anyway, back to the trip. This trip is one of the most enjoyable trip ever. Experiencing the cold weather, visiting places on our own and catching up with people. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this trip.
We've visited most of the places that we've planned. Melbourne is just great by itself with its beautiful architectures, historical buildings and great food that they offer. We've tasted Indonesian, Indian, Japanese, Italian, Turkish, Persian dessert, western, Chinese & Vietnam food during our entire trip. The whole trip was so eventful with places to visit everyday. If you want an itinerary, let me know. I do not have the time to explain in details what we've done everyday as I need to hit back to my books. I'll leave with some pictures from Melbourne but the whole junk of it is uploaded and going to be uploaded to Facebook.

Uninvited guests
Parents decided on a vacation to Hong Kong and a break from us last week. The highlight of the whole ordeal of being alone with my sisters without parental protection was having "visitors", uninvited guests that came in without our permission and caused a commotion. The three of us were caught unaware & unarmed when we're welcomed by the "visitors" face-to-face. We shouted, we screamed, we tried to run for our lives but we came to reality that we must handle this as our parents are not home. They are not here to protect us. We must do something to protect ourselves.
We tried to hide our presence from the "visitors" and quickly armed ourselves so that we can have a head on fight with them. We walked slowly to where they were, minimising our foot steps and peeped to see where they were. We then back off and strategize on how to fight them! Each of us were armed with different weapons and have different roles. We planned, we strategize and action starts!!
Despite many times of failure, we still managed to exterminate them at the end. These visitors are none other than my Dad's best friend - COCKROACHES!!! Every night they are in the kitchen and we wonder how they get in, since we don't open the back door & the windows and there's a strip to cover the gap between the door. Every night they come to visit us, maybe they know that we're alone and come to give us some entertainment. But grrr, they're irritating !!
The first encounter was the most hilarious! Dionne spotted it inside the sink when she went there and gave a loud scream. We didn't know whether it's the flying type and apparently, the cockroaches in Malaysia is called American cockroach and all of them have wings, only the adults can fly. We threw things into the sink to test if it can fly and we poured water in. Conclusion is, it's still a teenager so it can't fly.
We lured it out of the sink as we can't use aerosol to spray at it. It's a very smart roach with many attempts of hitting it with rolled-newspaper and it still managed to run away. We even used toothpaste as according to my sister's friend that it can suffocate the roach but you must practice to aim at its head. At the end, our kitchen turns out like a crime scene, with the carcass struggling on the floor, one of its leg hanging somewhere and patches of toothpaste on the kitchen top. We took more than half an hour to exterminate this!
The next few nights, we got smarter and we've exterminated a total of 5 roaches and 1 small one commited suicide in our toilet. We did not conduct a post-mortem on it, so we don't know what's the caused of it's death, we just saw it's carcass there lying motionless. We each took turns to pick them up and throw them away. The three of us are much tougher right now and we know what to do when we're visited by these uninvited guests again. What an experience!

Good Friday
Seventeen years ago, a baby girl was born on Good Friday at 10am sharp. I remembered sitting by the phone waiting patiently for Dad to call and it's a girl, he said. I thought to myself, another girl? But it all turns out well, I'm glad to have another sister. This sister of mine is 17 years old today on Good Friday as well. She was a really cute and adorable baby, wherever she goes attention will be drawn to her. Note the past tense :P
She is very unique in her own way. People that do not know her will think that she's one kind but I think she's one person that is very determined, disciplined and has a mind of her own. She used her talents very well and she also has a mini library in her room! We never got along well when we were growing up but our relationship took a turn in recent years. She's one super fast learner, perhaps she's catching up with us so that she won't be left behind. She started talking when she's 8 months plus and walking when she's 10 months. She grew up so fast that we don't really feel the age gap between us. Soon, she'll be on the road!
I'm thankful and blessed by God with these 2 sisters of mine - they're both one of a kind. She has definitely brought much joy to our family in these 17 years. So, happy birthday once again, Dap Dap! Enjoy being retards!
